Noooo the car will never explode if you get hit like in movies

It looks like the van was a natural gas or propane powered and the tank was ruptured.

Clearly a food truck service of some type likely with propane / LNG tanks that exploded. Don’t ccompare this incident to regular vehicles.
Yes, occasionally fuel tanks rupture and leak and ignite, but very rarely do they actually explode like in the movies.
